We support the Werribee Park Community Farm by purchasing freshly grown produce on-site, reducing food miles and promoting a resilient food system.
Carbon Offset Program
We offer clients the option to carbon offset their guests' attendance by donating $2.00 per guest towards tree planting initiatives at Werribee Park, in collaboration with Parks Victoria. This initiative helps regenerate and repair the environment while promoting sustainability.
The Refectory Team also work alongside the Werribee Park Community Farm on site at Werribee Park.
We buy freshly grown produce grown on site which promotes the cultivation of a resilient food system. It also reduces our food miles in food transportation.
Werribee Community Garden
The Werribee Environment Community Park (WECPark) Committee, in collaboration has established Wyndham's first Community Garden. This vibrant space allows individuals and groups to cultivate organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers.
They are cultivating a thriving community garden that embodies sustainability and fosters a connection to the land.
